A few classrooms in Van Vleck have projectors: check https://av.fpm.wisc.edu for a list. In order to use these podiums/projectors, you'll need an AV code. Here's how to get one. https://av.fpm.wisc.edu/av-passcodes-keys/

911 and 901 have projectors for seminars.

307 and 903 have TV carts for smaller seminars or meetings, and you can connect a laptop to them.

We have 3 Obsbot cameras. Obsbot cameras have an AI which can lock onto a speaker and follow them around the room. The audio isn't fantastic, but it will certainly record small seminar chalk talks and can be used in conjunction with Zoom.

We have 2 Meeting Owls. A Meeting owl allows a 360 recording environment that is ideal for interfacing or recording a large group of people in a small room. However, in larger rooms, the audio may not be ideal.

If you want assistance on streaming or recording events in larger spaces, please consult with the IT Staff.

There's some equipment available if you are in a room without equipment and you need temporary equipment.

  • projector: If you need a projector for a room that does not have one, please either go to the AMP library and check one out or see Sara Nagreen. Note that these are for short-term loans only.
  • document camera: We do have a portable document camera available upon request.
  • laptops. There are laptops available from the Infolabs or the AMP Library on campus for short-term checkout. If you have a longer-term need, please see Sara Nagreen.
  • tablets. We have a limited stock of tablets and iPads from the pandemic which can be provided on a long-term basis as needed. Please see Sara Nagreen for details.
